Auditing of Pension Trust by National Audit Office is Deemed Important

Auditor General Besnik Osmani and representatives of the Kosovo Pension Savings Trust consider the future audit of the Pension Trust by the National Audit Office (NAO) is important.

This conclusion was made in the joint meeting of the Auditor General of Republic of Kosovo Besnik Osmani, and the Chairman of the Steering Board, Ruzhdi Morina, wherein the Steering Board Member Ymer Ymeri and the Managing Director Adrian Zalli participated.

On this occasion Osmani informed the visitors on the audit works carried out by National Audit Office and it was also discussed about the possibility of auditing the TRUST by National Audit Office (NAO).

The willingness of the TRUST management for involvement of NAO in auditing of Financial Statements was highly commended in this meeting where they also discussed on the administrative modalities and legal aspects for carrying out the audit.

The attendees agreed that implementation of audit project is in the interest of TRUST management, Assembly, citizens and that NAO has sufficient professional capacities to implement it.

In receiving the TRUST Board representative, the Auditor General Besnik Osmani was accompanied by Deputy Auditor General Ilir Salihu, Assistant Auditor General Vlora Spanca and Head of National Audit Office Legal Department Safet Berisha.
