Emanuel Bajra is a well-known financier and connoisseur of the financial market and investment banking with an experience of almost 20 years in the public and private sector. He has expertise in the areas of financial markets, geo-politics, banking and economics with a particular emphasis on extensive knowledge of global money markets.
His experience includes investment and merchant banking, digital currencies, corporate markets and corporate/business transformation, building financial institutions, investor relations, capital, debt and derivatives markets as well as the financial regulatory landscape.

Emanuel’s areas of expertise include commercial and investment banking, financial products and valuations, investment portfolio management, risk, banking and financial operations, collective and concentrated risk management, regulatory compliance and adaptation, financial service marketing, economy and geopolitics, predictability of financial crises as well as active stock trading.

He has worked as senior manager for governance and oversight at Lloyds Banking Group, as well as senior manager and executive board advisor at Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets. Supervisor of the Human Resources division at the divisional and corporate level. He has provided in-depth expert explanations, opinions and insights on macroeconomic, banking and geopolitical issues, and has been sought after by the media in Kosovo, Albania and beyond for his thoughts on these issues.

During his career, Emanuel has had various roles in commercial banking at Lloyds Banking Group, HBOS, LBCM and TSB as well as in the private – non-public markets. He has managed and overseen multi-billion dollar portfolios in the Capital Markets Division and global corporations handling complex transactions and balance sheet management and exotic banking derivative strategies as well as financial engineering.

Emanuel has overseen the “Chinese Wall” system in investment banking specifically in the stockbroking division within Lloyds bank where he evaluated and sanctioned multi-billion daily trading transactions in the capital market and FOREX. Emanuel has been an active and passive stock trader in equities, commodities and FOREX. He is a qualified and active user of Bloomberg and Reuters trading terminals. He also has a Bachelor degree in Political Sciences with Sociology from the University of East London and the London School of Economics.

Emanuel is a member of the Working Group for the Establishment of the Sovereign Fund of the Republic of Kosovo and one of its co-founders. Emanuel is an active member and board member of several organizations and political and economic think tanks based in London such as Chatham House, Fabian Society, Progress Association and Compass Association, Based in Science, MacroInvestment Club. He has lectured in many of the Kosovo universities and abroad. He has contributed to publications and has held various media appearances.

Emanuel is also a writer and author of books, is passionate of literature, and is an avid collector of rare books and owns a personal library of twenty-five thousand books. Hobbies include nature, travel, running, and collecting facts about old religious artifacts, occultism, and space phenomena.
