Kosovo Assembly approved the Annual Report 2021
In the plenary session held on 27 October 2022, the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo reviewed the Annual Report 2021 of the Kosovo Pension Savings Trust (KPST). This report was presented to the Kosovo Assembly by the Chairman of the Committee on Budget, Labor and Transfers, Mr. Armend Muja. Mr. Muja emphasized that the Committee unanimously supported this report since the KPST had an excellent performance in 2021. He also said that there have been positive returns of EUR 227 million in 2021 alone, being a record return on investments since the inception of the institution.
“Taken as a whole, the KPST returns on investment is EUR 782 million in the last 20 years, which is about 25% of the total fund. Operating expenses in the last 20 years have been around EUR 30 million and considering the return-on-investment performance, I think that it is one of the institutions that managed to have a good budget performance while incurring minor operating expenses”, said Mr. Muja.
Following this statement, the Kosovo Assembly of voted endorsed the KPST 2021 Annual Report by 68 votes for, no abstentions and no votes against.
